Before the commercial courts in Turkey, a court case on the merits require between 4 and 7 hearings. In these circumstances, it is necessary to foresee between 18 and 24 months of legal proceedings on first instance.
Turkish lawyers shall endeavor all their best efforts and diligence to get the magistrates to judge a case in less than two years. To do so, the lawyers must provide all evidences, but also legal arguments supported by case law of the Supreme Court.
Considering the time limits for appeal and then a procedure before the Supreme Court, a business law court case would take about 30 months.
