Commercial Chamber of Izmir and European Court of Arbitration in Turkey signed and agreement for promoting the national and international arbitration for their members,
Mr Rebii AKDURAK (President of Commercial Chamber of Izmir) and Ozgur ASIK (President of European Court of Arbitration in Turkey) entered into force the cooperation agreement on 11.03.2016.
Professor Mauro RUBINO SAMMARTANO (President of European Court of Arbitration) participated to the signing ceremony.
Then panelists Prof. Dr. Murat AYDOĞDU, Arş. Gör. Ekin SÖKMEN, Yrd. Doç. Dr. Ebru KARADEMİR and Yrd. Doç. Dr. Cahit AĞAOĞLU debated on the practice of arbitration in Turkey, the advantages and risks.
Att. Ozgur ASIK did focus on the specificities of ECA arbitration clauses.
